Issue
I would like to know how to associate a task with a specific campaign in the system to ensure that my users have access to the related item link to facilitate completion of the task.
Environment
Kipu CRM, Roles: Marketing Only for 3rd Party Marketing Setup (With Reports), Combined +, Combined (Admissions and B.D.), Super User, Business Development, Business Development Plus, Tasks
Important
If you are managed by a third-party biller, it is possible you will not see these roles available for your tenant. Contact support for more assistance.
Resolution
For guidance on how to link a task to a campaign record in Kipu CRM, please reference the steps below:
- Navigate to CRM> Business Development> Campaign & Marketing.
- Locate and select your desired campaign from the grid.
- The campaign focus panel will appear. Click the Campaign Name within the focus panel to access the record.
- Click the ellipsis icon located on the left-side panel and select Create Task.
- Fill in the details of the task and once completed, click Save Changes to generate the task in the system.

- When the task is generated, it automatically includes a related item link referencing the campaign from which it was created.

- Tasks widget on Landing Page Dashboard
- Task Center (Assigned Tasks, Created Tasks, & Team Tasks)
