How do I ensure a task is linked to a Campaign?

Issue

I would like to know how to associate a task with a specific campaign in the system to ensure that my users have access to the related item link to facilitate completion of the task. 

Environment

Kipu CRM, Roles: Marketing Only for 3rd Party Marketing Setup (With Reports), Combined +, Combined (Admissions and B.D.), Super User, Business Development, Business Development Plus, Tasks

Important
If you are managed by a third-party biller, it is possible you will not see these roles available for your tenant. Contact support for more assistance.

Resolution

For guidance on how to link a task to a campaign record in Kipu CRM, please reference the steps below:

  1. Navigate to CRM> Business Development> Campaign & Marketing.
  2. Locate and select your desired campaign from the grid.
  3. The campaign focus panel will appear. Click the Campaign Name within the focus panel to access the record.
  4. Click the ellipsis icon located on the left-side panel and select Create Task.
  5. Fill in the details of the task and once completed, click Save Changes to generate the task in the system.

  6. When the task is generated, it automatically includes a related item link referencing the campaign from which it was created.

The related item link associated with the task record can also be accessed in the following areas:

  • Tasks widget on Landing Page Dashboard
  • Task Center (Assigned Tasks, Created Tasks, & Team Tasks)
