Facility Contacts within the Kipu CRM can be set up to support Outside VOB and transportation-related processes.
Requirements
Only Combined Admissions & BD, Combined +. Restricted Admissions Worker, Limited Admissions Worker, Admission Worker, & Superusers can access the Organization's Facilities section.
- To begin, navigate to CRM > Facilities
- Open the facility-focused panel by clicking on your desired facility record.
- Select the name of the facility on the focus panel to access the record.
- Select contacts from the panel on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Select Add New Contact.
- Enter the following information on the new contact record.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Then, set your toggles depending on how you would like to utilize the facility contact.
- If the contact is related to outside VOB processes, set the Show in VOB Recipient List toggle to Yes.
- If the contact is related to transportation services, set the Show in Transportation Email Recipient List toggle to Yes.
- Effective Date (set one day back from the correct date).
- Click on the Save Changes button.
Disabling Facility Contacts
When a contact is no longer valid, you can disable it. For example, if you have an organization that is no longer using specific VOB company services, you can remove them from the facility contact list.
- To disable facility contacts, navigate to CRM > Facilities:
- Open the facility-focused panel by clicking on your desired facility record.
- Select the name of the facility in the focus panel to access the record.
- Click Contacts from the panel on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Locate your desired facility contact and click on the record to view the focus panel.
- Enter an end date in the indicated field and click on the Save Changes button to disable the contact record.
