 How can I designate a Referral Source Contact as the Primary Contact for an organization?

Environment

Kipu CRM, Roles: Admission Worker, Combined +, Combined (Admissions and B.D.), Super User, Business Development, Referral Source Management, Referral Source Management Plus, Business Development Plus | Referral Source Contacts

 

Resolution

For guidance on how to designate a referral source contact as a primary contact in a referral source, please refer to the steps below.

  • Using the Global Search Bar, search for your desired Referral Source record.
  • Select your desired Referral Source from the search results to access the record.
  • In the Referral Source record, select Referral Contacts from the left side panel. 
  • Select your desired Referral Source Contact from the list.
  • Using the Is Primary Contact toggle, select Yes.

Important
Please note, that there can only be one Primary Contact designated per Referral Source Record.

  • Select Save Changes.
  • You have successfully designated a Primary Contact for the referral source record.
