Visibility Controller Guide

The Visibility Controller feature allows organizations to customize field layouts throughout the system to fit their unique workflows. Customizations include making fields visible/hidden, required/optional, and relabeling fields.  

Required Permissions: You must be a Super User to access the Visibility Controller feature.

The following areas contain the Visibility Controller and allow you to customize field availability and field labels.

Locating the Visibility Controller 

The Visibility Controller icon is represented by an eye symbol, usually located in the top banner of the record modal you are viewing.

Using the Visibility Controller

Let's review how to use the Visibility Controller icon to modify field availability and labels. 

  1. Locate and select the Visibility Controller icon.
  2. From the Visibility Controller modal, use the required, visible, and/or validation toggles to customize this area in the Kipu CRM.

  3. Users can re-label fields present on the visibility controller by clicking on the desired text and changing it as needed.

    Important: To revert the field to its original label, select the undo icon seen below.
  4. Select Save Changes.


    Important: Please note that reporting in the system will use the default field labels, regardless of any customizations made through the visibility controller application.
