How Do I Associate An Insurance Record To a Treatment Opportunity?

Issue

I want to add a patient's insurance record on file to their treatment opportunity.

Environment

Kipu CRM, Roles: Admissions Worker, Combined (Admissions and BD), Combined +, Super User, Patient/Prospect Records

Resolution

Once a Treatment Opportunity has been created, any insurance records on file tied to the Patient record can be associated with that opportunity using the Insurance List section's Select to Associate field.

1. Enter and select the client's name or patient code in the Global Search bar to pull up the patient's record.
2. With the Patient Record open, Navigate to the Treatment Opportunities section by selecting Treatment Opportunities on the navigation panel on the left-hand side of your screen and selecting the appropriate Treatment Opportunity.
3. With the Treatment Opportunity open, using the scroll bar, scroll down to the Insurance List section.
4. Right-click on the Select to Associate field to access the drop-down menu.
5. Choose the desired Insurance Record on file to associate.
6. You may repeat Steps 4 & 5 to associate and additional records.
7. SAVE CHANGES.
