Why is the Chart Tracker feature not available after readmitting a patient through the CRM?

Issue

After I transfer a new opportunity from the CRM to the EMR for a readmitting patient, I am unable to use the Chart Tracker feature.

Kipu CRM, Kipu EMR

Resolution

It is important to note that the Chart Tracker feature is not compatible with CRM to EMR transfers when readmitting a patient. To optimize the readmission process for patients, it is recommended to initiate readmission directly within the EMR system. This practice ensures seamless integration with Chart Tracker, maintaining its functionality and consistency.

For records that are properly connected, the CRM will automatically generate a new, blank opportunity within the client's CRM profile. This ensures that the new EMR chart is accurately linked to the client’s profile, streamlining the workflow and facilitating efficient tracking and management of patient information.

By following this procedure, users can ensure accurate documentation, maintain system integrations, and enhance overall workflow efficiency.
