The Add Files to EMR feature lets users send documents to the Kipu EMR even after pushing the opportunity record. This behavior ensures that organizations can smoothly transfer files to a patient's active EMR face sheet during their treatment episode.
Important
CRM Live Form Assessments cannot be transferred to the EMR using an opportunity that has already been pushed.

All user types besides the following can use this feature:
- Outside Party - Read & Upload Access Only
- Marketing Only for 3rd Party Marketing Setup (With Reports)
- Auditor - Read Only
- User Maintenance Only
- Business Development
- Referral Source Management
- Alumni/Aftercare Worker
- Analytics Only - All Reports
- External VOB Agent

Triggering Add Files to EMR
Once the patient record has been transferred to the EMR, gone through validation, and has been accepted into the facility for treatment, you're ready to trigger the feature. For more information on how to transfer a patient record to the EMR click here.
- Use the global search bar to navigate to your desired patient record.

Select Treatment Opportunities from the left panel.
- Select a treatment opportunity that has already been pushed to the Kipu EMR.
- Click on the Add Files to EMR button in the treatment opportunity.
- All available files will be displayed in the Add Files to EMR modal.
- Use the toggles to include the files that you would like to send to the EMR.
- Next, use the drop-down options in the Target Tab in EMR column to choose which EMR facesheet tab the file(s) will be sent to.
- Click on the Queue Transfer to EMR. button to start the transfer of the selected files.
- Login to your EMR instance.
- Select the incoming transfers icon.
- Locate the row that corresponds to the patient record you chose for the transferred files. Click on the client's name to open the facesheet.
- The files will appear in the chosen tab.
