How can I opt a patient in or out of the Alumni/aftercare program?

How can I have the system reflect that a patient record is opted in or out of the Alumni/Aftercare program?

Environment

Kipu CRM, Roles: Admissions Worker, Combined +, Combined (Admissions and B.D.), Super User, Limited Admissions Worker, Alumni/Aftercare Worker

Resolution

Important
The CRM tenant must have the Opts in for Alumni / Aftercare and Opts out for Alumni / Aftercare record statuses set to be visible for use in the system. For assistance on how to configure these values to be available for your use, please click here.

 

For guidance on opting patients in or out of Alumni/Aftercare in the system, please refer to the steps below.

  •  Using the Global Search Bar, search for your desired patient.
  •  Select the patient record from the search results to access the record.
  • In the patient information section of the record, locate and select the X icon that corresponds to the Patient Status field.
  • From the list of available status options, select either Opts in Alumni/Aftercare or Opts out for Alumni/Aftercare depending on the scenario.
  •  Once you have applied for your desired Alumni status, select Save Changes.

Moving forward, the system will now reflect the relevant Alumni/aftercare-related status for this patient record throughout the system.
