How to Customize Grids

You are allowed to customize your grids within the CRM. This includes the following grids and themes:

 

Admissions Pipeline Call Queue
patient records user management
My BD Pipeline Referral Sources
VOB Queue Alumni processing
Travel Board Campaign Management
Facility Records Tenant Manager
Tenant Payors Tenant Configuration

 

Important: Please be sure to save your grid state prior to exiting your grid to ensure that all changes will be saved moving forward.

 

 

Accessing The Grid

  1. Navigate to your preferred grid section (Referral source, pipeline, etc.).
  2. Hover your mouse over the desired column.

  4. You can remove sections from the grid by deselecting them from the available menu.2023-02-02_10-27-57.png
  5. Once you’ve selected an object to remove, it takes effect immediately. 2023-02-02_10-24-01__1_.gif

Grid Management 

Let's review some common items you can customize in any grid layout through the CRM. 

  1. Reorder Columns: Rearrange sections by dragging and dropping the columns where you would like to them be. Hover over then the column header, then click and drag to the desired position.
  2. Remove Columns: You can remove columns by clicking and dragging a specific column out of the grid.2023-02-02_10-34-37.png
  3. Manage Columns: Selecting the first menu (☰) in the grid will allow you to pin columns, reset the columns to their original state, or automatically resize your columns.2023-02-02_10-16-17.png
  4. Pinning Columns: You can Pin any desired columns to the left or right. Select the menu icon when hovering your mouse over any column on the grid. Then, hover your mouse over the Pin Column to choose left or right.

  5. Manually Set Column Width: You can adjust the column width manually by hovering and dragging the column with your mouse.2023-02-02_10-46-28__1_.gif
  6. Sorting Columns: You can sort columns in ascending or descending order within the grid by clicking on the space within the column header. ezgif.com-optimize.gif

Saving Grid State

Once you've Modified the grid to your desire, you must save the Grid State. Not saving will cause you to lose all of the changes. Changes are temporary until the grid state is saved prior to logging out of your current session.

To save the Grid State, right-click on the first Status Column > Select Grid State > Select save. This will save all of your Grid customizations.

Filtering Grids

You can filter grids by column data. Select the column filter icon and choose which data point in that column to isolate. 

Changing Themes

You can customize the grid theme for your user profile. Changing the theme will only affect your CRM login and not the entire organization. To change the Theme of a Grid, right-click on the first Status Column > Select Theme > Choose your preferred Theme.

Important: Choosing the Alpine Grid Theme will produce a larger font.

This will adjust the overall color scheme of the grid.

Exporting Grid

Right-click on the grid, select Export and choose to export as a CSV or Excel

Important: Exporting grids in the Kipu CRM will not take into account the user's customized grid state. Exports will always render grids in their default format.
