Issue
I need to obtain a PDF copy of the completed Phone VOB assessment for one of our patients.
Environment
Kipu CRM, Roles: External 3rd Party VOB Worker, Admission Worker, Combined +, Combined (Admissions and B.D.), VOB Worker, Restricted Admissions Worker, Super User | VOB 2.0
Important
If you are managed by a third-party biller, it is possible you will not see these roles available for your tenant. Contact support for more assistance.
Resolution
- Using the Global Search bar, search for the desired patient.
- From the search results, select the relevant patient record.
- Using the left-side panel, select Phone VOB History.
- In the VOB 2.0 History tab, select your desired Phone VOB request from the grid.
- The VOB Focus Panel will appear. Scroll down until you locate the VOB Assessments section.
- Once you have located the VOB Assessments section, select Print to generate a PDF copy.
- This will trigger the system to generate a PDF rendering of the VOB assessment. This PDF file will be downloaded locally to your computer and automatically uploaded to the patient's CRM chart for easy access.
- To validate that the PDF document has been uploaded to the patient's record, return to the patient record by selecting Patient Information on the left-side panel.
- From the patient information area, select the Manage Files icon.
- The Manage Uploads modal will appear, displaying all files that have been associated with the patient record.
- Select your desired VOB file from the list. This will generate a new tab on your browser displaying the document.
