Our Admissions Packet feature lets you create a PDF document with important patient details like demographics, opportunities, contacts, patient activities, and assessments. You can then send the PDF, along with the opportunity, to the EMR for clinical staff to review.
Required Permissions
Users must have one of the following permissions:
- Super User
- Combined +
- Combined (Admissions and B.D.)
Admissions Packet Breakdown
The Admissions Packet includes the following data:
- Patient Information
- Treatment Opportunity Details + Decision
- Address Information
- Contact Information
- Patient Activities
- Assessment Information
Preparing the Treatment Opportunity
To prepare the treatment opportunity, complete the following steps below:
- Access the desired patient record by inputting the patient's name on the global search bar and selecting the result.
- Select Treatment Opportunities from the left panel.
- Select a Treatment Opportunity on file.
- In the Insurance List section, click on the Select to Associate drop-down and add the insurance record you wish to add to the opportunity.
- Moving on to the Communication Logs section, click the Associate an Existing Communication Log drop-down and select any logs you wish to add.
- From the Assessments section, click the Associate an Existing Assessment drop-down to add the desired assessment.
- Finally, click Associate an Existing Call Queue Record in the associated queue section and choose any relevant call records.
- Select Save Changes to preserve your changes.
- The completed treatment opportunity will appear as follows:
Creating the Admissions Packet
Now, you are ready to create the Admissions Packet.
- From the Treatment Opportunity menu, click Create Admissions Packet.
- On the Admissions Packet window, select Generate Packet.
- The Admissions Packet PDF document will be automatically uploaded to the patient's manage files application.
- The Admissions Packet PDF document will also be available in the Transfer to EMR section.
