Working Assessments

The Assessments feature seamlessly integrates the entire workflow into the CRM, enabling the retention of crucial information accessible at any time in the database. Working an assessment offers the advantage of utilizing smart fields, saving progress, generating PDF copies of completed forms, and the option to email a one-time use URL for patient completion outside of the CRM.

User Requirements

Only users with one of the following roles can process assessments in the system.

    • Super User
    • KipuCRM Super User
    • RB Client Super User with User Management
    • RB Client Super User
    • RB VOB Manager
    • RB Client Combined Admissions and Bus Dev
    • Combined Admissions and Business Development
    • RB VOB Supervisor
    • External 3rd Party VOB Worker
    • Admission Worker
    • Combined +
    • Combined (Admissions and B.D.)
    • Limited Admissions Worker
    • VOB Worker
    • Restricted Admissions Worker
    • Alumni/Aftercare Worker

Working an Assessment

To successfully process an assessment in the Kipu CRM, please refer to the steps below.

  1. Use the Global Search bar to access any desired patient record.

  2. Select Assessments from the left-side panel.

  3. Using the Choose an Assessment field, select your desired form template.

  4. Select Answer Assessment to begin working the form.
  5. Begin to answer the fields present on the form.
  6. Upon completing the assessment, select the Save option.
  7. The following save options are available for selection:
    • Save and Continue: Choosing this option preserves your current progress on the form.
    • Save and PDF: Choosing this option closes the assessment response modal and a PDF copy of the completed form will become available in the Manage Files application.
    • Save and Email as PDF: Choosing this option closes the assessment response modal and prompts the email distribution modal to appear allowing you to email a PDF copy to any desired recipient.
    • Save and Close: Choosing this option preserves your current progress on the form and closes the assessment response modal. (No PDF copy is generated in the Manage Files application)
    • Send Link: Choosing this option closes the assessment response modal and prompts the system to send a one-time use URL to the patient for form completion.

Assessment Response Areas

In the Kipu CRM, users can work on assessments in any of the following areas:

    Important: Once an assessment is transferred over to the EMR, there will be a toggle for active vs inactive assessments.

Assessment Summary Reports

Within patient assessments, there is a menu option on the assessments table to view the summary of the responses to the selected assessment.

  1. Use the global search bar to locate the patient record.

  2. Select assessments from the side panel.

  3. Select the action menu, and choose View Summary.
