Kipu BI: Referral Activity Dashboard

The Referral Activity dashboard in Kipu provides users with referral performance by source and organization type, helping business development leaders identify relationships that may not be generating activity with your organization.

Note: The data refresh process for the BI analytics will occur every 5 hours.

Requirements

The user profile must have access to referral analytics BI reports.

Accessing BI Report

  • To access the referral activity dashboard, select Analytics > Kipu BI > Referral Activity.

Filter Controls

The following filter controls are available for use in the Referral Activity dashboard.

    • Facility: Designate a specific facility for referral, reporting examination.
    • Patient Name: Specify a patient or patients for referral,l reporting examination.
    • MR#: Specify specific medical record numbers for referral reporting examination.
    • User (Comm Logs): Designate a specific "created by" user for patient communication logs in the system.
    • Opportunity Create Date: Establish a specific timeframe for examining treatment opportunities in referral reporting.
    • Actual Admit Date: Specify a timeframe for examining admits in referral activity reporting.
    • Preferred: Restrict the dashboard to only preferred or non-preferred referral source data.
    • Tag: Filter reporting based on the referred-through tag present on the referred-through record.
    • Primary Relationship Manager: Examine referral data based on specific primary relationship managers.
    • Backup Relationship Manager: Examine referral data based on specific secondary relationship managers.
    • Timezone: Designate a specific timezone for the system to adhere to for all date/time values presented in the dashboard.

Reporting Widgets

Important: Drill-down functionality is available for all users by simply clicking on any elements present in the reporting widgets.

  1. Treatment Opportunities by Referral Source Organization Type: This widget provides a clear overview of referral outcomes categorized by organization types in the CRM. It details the number of opportunities, admits, and the acquisition percentage for each organization type. The outcomes are classified as Rejected, In Process, Declined, or Accepted, based on the opportunity status.
  2. Treatment Opportunities by Referral Source: This widget reflects referral outcomes for all active referral sources in your CRM. It details the number of opportunities, admits, and the acquisition percentage for each organization type. The outcomes are classified as Rejected, In Process, Declined, or Accepted, based on the opportunity status.
  3. Referral Source Communication Logs Created By: This widget displays the total number of communication logs recorded by each user in your CRM, presented in a horizontal bar graph style.
  4. Referral Source by Organization Type: This widget illustrates the total number of referral sources corresponding to each organization type in use in your CRM, presented in a horizontal bar graph style.
  5. No Activity by Referral Source: This widget presents a list of referral source records that have not generated any referrals to your organization, including the primary and secondary relationship manager associated with each account.
  6. No Communication Logs by Referral Source: This widget presents a list of referral source records that do not currently have any communication logs on file.
  7. Patient Data: This table provides a detailed breakdown of all referral-related data corresponding to the filters set on the dashboard.

Miscellaneous Reports

  1. Analytics > Miscellaneous Reports > Patient Contact Reports.

  2. Right-click on your preferred record to go to the patient record or head to the primary contact.
