The Referral Projections dashboard provides a comprehensive view of revenue generated from various referral sources and tracks treatment opportunities managed by both primary and secondary relationship managers. The data presented also highlights the success rates of admissions and opportunities in progress, helping teams pinpoint areas of strength and areas needing improvement.
Note: The refresh process for the BI analytics will occur every 5 hours.

Accessing BI Report
- Navigate to Analytics > Kipu BI > Referral Projections.
Filter Controls

- Facility: Filter the data based on the specific facility assigned to the patient record.
- Patient Name: Used to filter the data based on specific patient records present in your database.
- MR #: Used to filter the data based on specific medical record numbers tied to the patients in your database.
- Actual Admit Date: Used to filter the data based on a specified admission time frame.
- Opportunity Create Date: Used to filter the data based on a specific time frame in which the opportunity was created.
- Time Zone: Designate a specific timezone for the system to adhere to for all date/time values presented in the dashboard.
- Preferred: Restrict the dashboard to only display referral data from preferred and/or non-preferred referral source accounts.
Visualizations
Important: Drill-down functionality is available for all users by simply clicking on any elements present in the reporting widgets.
- Revenue by Referral Sources: This graph enables the comparison of Projected Revenue (Specifically, the Projected Insurance Revenue) against Actual Revenue. The data is sourced directly from the decision table in each treatment opportunity, providing a clear visual representation of revenue performance.

- Referral Tracking - Actual Discharge To: This widget presents statistics related to discharge-to referrals as documented in the Kipu EMR. It’s important to note that the discharge-to-referral data is not linked or integrated with the referral source information in the CRM. This allows users to track referral activity based specifically on discharge data in the EMR, providing a focused view of this aspect of referral management.
- Patient Detail: This table provides a detailed breakdown of all referral-related data corresponding to the filters set on the dashboard.
Important: For Patient Data to successfully appear in Kipu BI reporting, the record must contain a valid DOB. We recommend utilizing 01/01/1900 or earlier if the actual DOB is not known.
