Referral Source Grid Overview

Welcome to the Referral Source Grid, your centralized hub for tracking and managing all referral sources in the Kipu CRM. Here, you'll find powerful quick action tools and an intuitive focus panel, making it easy to review and manage crucial information for each referral source in your system.

Requirements

  • The user must have one of the following security roles:
    • Admission Worker
    • Combined +
    • Combined (Admissions and B.D.)
    • Super User
    • Business Development
    • Referral Source Management
    • Referral Source Management Plus
    • Business Development Plus

Important
If you are managed by a third-party biller, it is possible you will not see these roles available for your tenant. Please contact support for more assistance.

Locating the Referral Source Grid

For guidance on how to locate the Referral Source grid, please take a look at the steps below.

  • Select CRM > Business Development > Referral Source.

Functionality

The Referral Source Grid serves as the central repository for all referral sources in your CRM tenant. By default, it displays active referral sources, but users have the flexibility to adjust the settings to view archived referral sources. This feature enables users to efficiently reference essential information for each referral source, such as their current status and details of the latest interaction.

Toggle Breakdown

  • When the Referral Source grid is toggled to Showing Active, it will display all active referral source records.
  • When the Referral Source grid is toggled to Showing Inactive, it will display all archived referral source records.

Focus Panel Breakdown

When selecting a record from the Referral Source grid, the system opens a focus panel that highlights key details about the referral source. This panel also offers quick-action features, enabling users to streamline their business development workflows and manage referrals more efficiently.

    • Referral ID
    • Org Type
    • Preferred
    • Outbound
    • Organizational Contact
    • Classification
    • Types of Care
    • Genres of Care

Activities

  • The Activities tab of the focus panel will showcase the following key information:
    • Referral Source Communication Logs
      • Date of Communication
      • Contact With
      • Reason
      • Follow Up Date
      • Notes
    • Referral Source Notes
      • Create Date
      • Notes

  • The Contacts tab of the focus panel will showcase the following key information:
    • Full Name
