Kipu BI: BD Analytics

The Business Development Analytics dashboard is a powerful tool designed to enhance your organization’s ability to track and analyze referral sources and treatment opportunities. This comprehensive dashboard provides valuable insights into patient admissions and the effectiveness of various referral sources, enabling data-driven decision-making.

The refresh process for the BI analytics will occur every 5 hours.

Accessing BI Report

  • Navigate to Analytics > Kipu BI > BD Analytics.

Business Development Tab

*This tab only provides an analysis on referral sources that are tied to treatment opportunities. Historical records could show a period where there were no relationship managers associated. Therefore, referral sources with no referral data will not appear.

Filtering Results

For a complete breakdown of the available filters present on this dashboard, please see below.

  • Referral Source: Used to filter referral data based on specific referral source accounts.
  • Primary Relationship Manager: Examine referral data based on the specific primary relationship manager(s) tied to the referral source.
  • Opportunity Create Date: Select the date range of opportunities you would like to analyze.
  • Preferred: Restrict the dashboard to only display referrals from preferred or non-preferred referral source accounts.
  • MR #: Filter the data based on the specific medical record numbers tied to the referral data.
  • Time Zone: Designate a specific timezone for the system to adhere to for all date/time values presented in the dashboard.

Dashboard Glossary

    • Accounts Touched: This refers to the number of referral source records that are categorized under the specific Organization Type.
    • Total Touches: This represents the total number of communication logs associated with the relevant referral sources.
    • Accounts with Admissions: This is the number of referral source records that have at least one referral that resulted in an admission.
    • Total Admissions: This indicates the total number of referrals successfully converted into an admission in a particular Organization Type.
    • Touches Per Admission: This metric is calculated by dividing the Total Touches by the Total Admissions for a given Organization Type, providing insight into the average number of interactions needed to achieve an admission.

  • Referral Source Log & Opportunity Analysis: This widget provides a comprehensive overview of engagement with various organizations, highlighting key metrics such as the number of accounts touched, total admissions, and touches per admission. This tool enables users to evaluate the effectiveness of referral sources and identify opportunities for improvement in outreach and patient admissions.
  • Referral Sources & Opportunities: This widget provides insights into the performance of various referral sources, displaying key metrics such as total admissions and touches per admission. This tool enables users to evaluate the effectiveness of different referral sources and understand the engagement level required for successful admissions.
  • Referrals by Primary: This widget displays the total number of Opportunities associated to each Primary Relationship Manager present in your system.
  • Referral Source Detail: This table highlights key data points related to Referral Sources in your Kipu CRM, providing a clear overview of important information for managing and tracking referral relationships effectively.
  • Referral Source Detail with Comm Logs: This table offers detailed insights into Referral Sources, including all associated communication logs. It provides a comprehensive view of interactions and communications linked to each referral source, helping users manage and analyze referral activities more effectively.

  • Count of Comm Logs Created by Secondary Relationship Manager: This widget visually represents the volume of communication logs attributed to each secondary relationship manager.
  • Referrals by Primary: This widget provides a detailed overview of the performance of each primary relationship manager, highlighting the number of opportunities and total admissions associated with their referrals.
