Issue
I need to create a copy of an existing form template in the CRM to make updates or adjustments while keeping the original template intact. Duplicating a form template is helpful when I want to create variations of a form or test changes without impacting the current template in use.
Environment
Kipu CRM, Roles: N/A | Assessment Designer
Resolution
To duplicate a CRM form template, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Admin > Designers > Assessment Designer
- Open the desired Form Template
- Select the JSON Editor tab
- Select the Download option
- Next, click on Designer & select the New Assessment option
- Select the JSON Editor option again

Select the Import option and choose the JSON file in your download folder
- Once uploaded, go to Designer option edit the Template as required
- Provide the Name to the Form Template
- The Assessment cannot be Saved unless a New field is added.

Delete the newly added question and Save the changes made.
- Select Save Changes to save the Assessment.
