How to Create Treatment Opportunities From The Pipeline

A prospect record must be present prior to creating a treatment opportunity. View our article on How to Create Prospect 

Treatment opportunity records allow users to document pre-admission details when contacted by a prospect/lead inquiring about treatment. This record includes the kind of treatment the prospect/lead is seeking, the services to be provided, and how the client heard about the facility.

Required Roles: admissions worker, combined, combined +, limited admissions worker, super user, alumni/aftercare worker, restricted admissions worker.

Creating Treatment Opportunities

Let's review how to create a treatment opportunity for a prospect record.

  1. Click on CRM > Admissions ManagementProspect/Patient Records.

  2. Search for the prospect in the name column.

  3. Once you've located your prospect, right-click on the patient's name and select Add Opportunity.

  4. The Edit Treatment Opportunity box will appear.2024-04-11_16-14-37.png
  5. While we highly recommend filling out all available fields for a more complete inquiry, the following fields are required: 
    • Opportunity Status 
    • Proposed Location (for facilities with multiple locations) 
    • Referred Through (set to Primary)mceclip0.png
  6. You can link the Treatment Opportunity to a Referral Source through the Referred Through section of the Opportunity.

     Click on the Save Changes button once the fields are completed.

Reviewing Opportunities and associated items

  1. Search for the patient record using the global search bar.

  3. Select your desired Treatment Opportunity.

  4. Scroll to review opportunity details.
