Admissions Pipeline Overview

In the Kipu CRM, the Admissions Pipeline grid functions as the central workspace for admission representatives. It showcases active treatment opportunities currently being managed by your team and allows users to review completed records that are no longer in the active pipeline.

Requirements

  1. The user must have one of the following security roles:
    • Admission worker
    • Auditor - Read Only
    • Combined +
    • Combined (Admissions and B.D.)
    • Super User
    • Limited Admissions Worker
    • Restricted Admissions Worker

Important: If you are managed by a third-party biller, it is possible you will not see these roles available for your tenant. Please contact support for more assistance.

Locating the Admissions Pipeline

For guidance on how to locate the admissions pipeline area, please take a look at the steps below.

  1. Select CRM > Admissions Management > Pipeline from the CRM landing page dashboard.

    Note: Alternatively, users can select the admissions pipeline widget present on the dashboard to quickly access the admissions pipeline.

Functionality

The admissions pipeline grid displays all treatment opportunities documented in your CRM account. By default, the pipeline will initially display all open & in-progress treatment opportunities allowing your team the ability to quickly identify their current progress with all leads that have engaged with the facility. Alternatively, users can adjust the grid to display closed/completed treatment opportunity records to examine historical data.

Toggle Breakdown

  1. When the admissions pipeline is toggled to viewing active, it will display all unarchived patient treatment opportunity records.
  2. When the admissions pipeline is toggled to viewing archived, it will display all archived patient treatment opportunity records.
  3. When the admissions pipeline is toggled to Viewing Incomplete, it will display all open and in-progress treatment opportunity records.
  4. When the admissions pipeline is toggled to viewing completed, it will display all closed treatment opportunity records.

Focus Panel Breakdown

  1. Upon selecting a record present on the Admissions Pipeline, the system will present the user with a focus panel showcasing key information relative to the patient and their inquiry for care. Additionally, the Focus Panel offers additional quick action capabilities to streamline the pre-admission process.

    • Patient Code
    • Patient Classification
    • Date of Birth
    • Current Age
    • Gender
    • Patient Record Status
    • Reason
    • Email
    • Primary Phone Number
    • Address Details
    • Opportunity Details (Based on the most recent opportunity on file)
    • Referred Through Details (Based on the most recent opportunity on file)

The Insurance Details tab of the focus panel will showcase the following key information:

    • Insurance Priority
    • Payor Name
    • Payor Type
    • Subscriber ID
    • Group Number
    • Plan Type
    • Subscriber Name
