October Sprint 1

  • Admissions Calendar: The default appointment type for appointments generated through the decision area of the treatment opportunity has been modified. Users can now change the appointment type, removing unnecessary restrictions and expanding the feature’s use cases.
  • Analytics: The Geographic Treatment Opportunity report has been enhanced to display in the latest grid format used throughout the system. It now utilizes 100% vertical scaling, maximizing screen space for a refined appearance on the site.

  • Assessment Designer: The ICD Search field in the Assessment Designer application has been enhanced to include the new ICD-10 codes for 2024 and 2025, as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services recommended.
  • Assessment Designer: The Assessment Designer application has been enhanced to include several new smart fields: Payor Medical Claims Contact Address, Payor Substance Abuse Claims Contact Address, Payor Repricing Contact Address, and Payor Mental Health Contact Address. These smart fields are designed for use in the Phone VOB form template, enabling users to populate the selected insurance contact addresses seamlessly.
  • Campaigns & Marketing: The left-side navigation panel within Campaign records have been redesigned with an updated look that aligns seamlessly with the overall theme of all Kipu products, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience.
  • CRM to EMR Events: The client-side cache will now be cleared automatically when EMR events are received. This enhancement ensures that users always see the most updated data without needing to perform a hard refresh. The cache will reload data the next time a user accesses a record, streamlining the user experience and improving data accuracy.
  • Custom Page Layout: The user interface of the Custom Page Layout application has been enhanced to flatten the tables, resulting in a clean and refined appearance that aligns with the overall design of the site.
  • Email Notifications: The Opportunity is Medically Approved email notification has been modified to trigger when the treatment opportunity status is set to Medically Approved.

  • Kipu CRM: The icons in the header of Kipu CRM have been redesigned to align with Material Design principles, enhancing consistency across all products in the Kipu Health ecosystem.
  • Landing Page Dashboard: The mobile version of the Kipu CRM landing page dashboard has been enhanced to provide an improved and refined appearance, optimizing the user experience on mobile devices.
  • Manage Tags: The user interface of the Manage Tags application has been enhanced to flatten the tables, resulting in a clean and refined appearance that aligns with the overall design of the site.
  • Patient Addresses: The user interface for the Patient Address record has been enhanced to flatten the table, providing a clean and refined appearance that aligns with the overall design of the site.
  • Patient Classifications: The user interface for the Patient Classification application has been enhanced to flatten the tables, providing a clean and refined appearance that aligns with the overall design of the site.
  • Patient Contacts: The user interface for the Patient Contact record has been enhanced to flatten the tables, providing a clean and refined appearance that aligns with the overall design of the site.

  • Recurring Tasks: The Recurring Tasks section has been optimized for mobile devices, allowing users to manage their recurring tasks conveniently while on the go.
  • Recurring Tasks: The Recurring Tasks application has been enhanced to automatically set tasks to an inactive status if the end recurring date is in the past. This improvement simplifies the management of recurring tasks for users.
  • Referral Sources: The left-side navigation panel within referral sources has been redesigned with an updated look that aligns seamlessly with the overall theme of all Kipu products, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience.
  • Referral Source Classifications: The user interface for the Referral Source Classification application has been enhanced to flatten the tables, providing a clean and refined appearance that aligns with the overall design of the site.
  • User Management: The order of options in the Save Changes icon has been updated. Save and Send Invite is now positioned at the top, while Save Changes is placed at the bottom. This change minimizes the potential for users to select the incorrect option when managing existing users.
  • VOB 2.0: The VOB 2.0 application has been enhanced to enable users to effectively manage Insurance Contact Addresses during the Phone VOB assessment (Medical Claims, Substance Abuse Claims, Repricing, and Mental Health). The insurance addresses entered in the Phone VOB will automatically populate into the corresponding smart fields in your form template.

October Sprint 2

  • Admissions Pipeline: The Admissions Pipeline grid has been enhanced to include a new University Attending column, which displays the university information documented in each patient’s record. This update allows for better tracking and management of patient affiliations, providing greater insight and streamlined workflow in the Admissions Pipeline.
  • Assessment Designer: The list of smart fields available in the Assessment Designer application has been updated to include a new option for Rate Per Diem. This smart field will pull and display the value documented on the most recent treatment opportunity on file for the patient. This enhancement ensures that users have access to accurate and up-to-date financial information during assessments.
  • Customize Lists: The user interface of the Customize List application has been enhanced to flatten the tables, resulting in a clean and refined appearance that aligns with the overall design of the site.
  • Form Queue: The sorting behavior on the Form Queue grid has been updated to default to a descending order based on the ID column. This ensures that the latest webform submissions appear at the top of the grid, streamlining the processing and management of new entries.
  • Kipu BI - BD Analytics: The Referral Source Detail with Comm Log table in the BD Analytics dashboard has been enhanced to include direct link functionality, allowing users to seamlessly access the relevant referral sources.
  • Kipu EMR Integration: The integration now includes the ability to pass the Secondary Relationship Manager data point to the EMR face sheet. This enhancement ensures that critical relationship information is readily available, streamlining communication and coordination of care. Please note, the Secondary Relationship Manager data point will be included only in instances where the treatment opportunity is referred through an Organization/Person.
  • Alerts: A new configuration area has been introduced, enabling users to create custom alerts for Patient Records. This enhancement ensures that relevant and critical information about a patient can be effectively communicated.
  • Treatment Opportunities: The behavior for saving a new treatment opportunity on a patient’s record has been modified. After the creation of a treatment opportunity, users will now be returned directly to the patient information page. This enhancement aims to improve the user experience by streamlining navigation and reducing unnecessary clicks.
  • Treatment Opportunities: The Treatment Opportunity has been enhanced to provide users with Archive capabilities. This new functionality allows users to easily archive opportunity records, facilitating efficient data management and cleanup. Please note that only super users have the ability to archive treatment opportunities.
  • VOB 2.0: The mobile version of the VOB 2.0 application has been updated to include new paging controls to allow users the ability to easily navigate through the different Phone VOBs in their queue.

November Sprint 1

  • Admissions Pipeline: The default sorting on the Admissions Pipeline has been updated to display the most recent opportunity records at the top of the grid, making it easier to access and manage the latest entries.
  • Patient Records: The left-side navigation panel within patient records has been redesigned with an updated look that aligns seamlessly with the overall theme of all Kipu products, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience.
  • Integrations: The Integrations menu has been updated to remove the Appointment Wizard option, as this feature is no longer supported in the system. 
  • Referral Sources: The save behavior for Referral Source communication logs has been improved. Communication logs now appear in the record immediately after saving changes, ensuring clarity and eliminating any potential confusion.
  • Schedules: The Tenant Schedules area has been updated to incorporate Material Design, offering a modernized look and enhanced user experience.

November Sprint 2

  • CallRail Integration: The mapping for the Provider Campaign data point has been updated to use the “Campaign” key provided in the JSON payload from CallRail. This adjustment ensures accurate data capture for call tracking activities.
  • Call Queue API: The user interface of the Call Queue API application has been updated to provide a more consistent appearance, ensuring it aligns with the overall theme and style of the platform.
  • CRM Configurations: A new Tag Filtering configuration has been introduced, granting Super Users the ability to customize filtering behavior for tag-related columns. When enabled, the grid will display only the records that contain all the selected tags, ensuring precise and refined filtering results.
  • CRM Configurations: A new configuration has been introduced, allowing Super Users to set the phone number field to appear by default when creating new records (Patients & Referral Sources). This improvement is designed to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Customize Lists: A new “Google” option has been added to the Referred Through Type list, providing an additional category for tracking referred throughs.
  • Manage Teams: The user interface of the Manage Teams application has been enhanced with a refreshed design, providing a more consistent appearance that aligns with the overall theme of the platform.
  • Mass Update: The user interface for the Mass Update application has been enhanced with a refreshed design, providing a more consistent appearance that aligns with the overall theme of the platform.
  • Patient Records: The Patient Information page has been enhanced to allow users to assign alerts directly to patient records, ensuring that critical and relevant information is effectively communicated.
