Kipu CRM March 2024 Release Highlights

Webform Enhancement  

You can now create referral sources and contacts directly from webforms on your website. If you set up a form to collect referral source information and feed it into the CRM, it will automatically create new referral source and contact records or link the information to an existing referral source record. 

Mention Users in Tasks  

Mention (@) CRM users in task comments for improved collaboration, mirroring discussion features to keep your team connected and engaged.

Enhanced with a time component, allowing for precise scheduling and optimized bed usage to know the exact time a bed is free.

Autodetect Insurance Position

What's next?  

  • We're enhancing integration between CRM and EMR by adding a patient allergies section to the CRM, which will pull data directly from the EMR and update the EMR facesheet.  
  • We're introducing the ability to create recurring tasks within the CRM, expanding our task management capabilities.  
  • With our Twilio integration, you'll soon be able to send one-time-use URLs or assessments to patients via SMS, a feature that currently exists only for email.

March Sprint 1

  • Admissions Calendar: The user interface of the Admissions Calendar has undergone enhancements to offer a more polished visual experience and improved functionality. These improvements include the implementation of Material Design elements and the addition of typeahead search functionality, enhancing user interaction and navigation in the calendar.
  • Bed Board: The estimated admit date and estimated discharge date fields have been updated to date/time controls to facilitate accurate bed planning.
  • Campaigns & Marketing: The address verification modal for event host contact records has been updated to material design and ES6 for an improved appearance and increased maintainability as we scale the site.
  • Email Marketing: The Configure Email Marketing page has been enhanced to include a Reset icon, empowering users to effortlessly remove integration authorizations.
  • Form Queue: The Form Queue application has been upgraded to now support the creation of referral source records, enhancing its functionality and capabilities.
  • Insurance Records: The Insurance Type field has been enhanced to auto populate based on the types of insurance already present on the patient's record streamlining documentation process. The system will adhere to the following order: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Other.
  • Kipu BI: Kipu BI now offers CRM users access to a newly introduced reporting dashboard called "Task Analysis," providing valuable insights and analytics for task management.
  • Kipu BI: The Inbound Referrals dashboard has been enhanced with the addition of a new column for Proposed Facility, providing CRM users with essential information for a thorough analysis of all incoming clients.
  • Kipu BI: The Referral Source Contact Analysis dashboard now includes a new filter control for Proposed Facility, empowering CRM users with vital insights for comprehensive analysis of referrals received from referral source contacts.
  • Kipu BI: The calculation formula for the Average Opportunity Age metric, has been adjusted to exclude opportunities that have reached a closed status. This modification enhances the accuracy of the widget's data presentation.
  • The formula behind the Average Opportunity Age in days metric has been modified to no longer include opportunities that have reached a closed status increasing the accuracy of the the widget.
  • Landing Page Dashboard: The Referral Network widget paging controls have been updated to material design for an improved appearance and increased uniformity with the rest of the site.
  • Mass Update: The Mass Update application has been updated to include a new option for EMR payor sync allowing users to seamlessly import their EMR payor list directly into the CRM for increased efficiency.
  • Patient Classifications: The dropdown list functionality associated with the Patient Classification field has been enhanced to display only active classification options for new records. However, historical records containing inactive patient classifications will retain their original settings for reference purposes.
  • Patient Records: The dropdown list functionality for several fields in the Patient Information area has been enhanced to ensure consistency across the entire system. These fields include Facility, Location, Assigned Agent, and Alumni Aftercare Coordinator, providing users with a streamlined and cohesive experience when managing patient data.
  • Referral Source Contacts: The referral source contact search application has been removed from thesite further promoting the use of the global search bar for locating all kinds of records across the system.
  • Tasks: The Task Comments area has been enhanced with a WYSIWYG editor, enabling users to customize comments with ease, including the ability to tag other CRM users for improved collaboration and communication.
  • Tasks: The assigned area in the task inline view has been improved to prevent expansion as the list of task comments increases, ensuring a more streamlined viewing experience.
  • Tenant On-Call Schedules: The tenant on-call schedules area has been upgraded to material design for increased uniformity with the rest of the system.
  • Treatment Opportunities: The Treatment Opportunity banner icons have been redesigned to enhance the visual appeal and ensure compatibility across various screen sizes.
  • User Management: Enhanced security measures have been implemented in the User Management area, introducing new functionality that restricts user creation to email addresses listed in the domain whitelist. This ensures a more secure system environment by preventing unauthorized domain access.

March Sprint 2

  • Admissions Pipeline: The admissions pipeline grid has been updated to include a new column showcasing Preferred Name to ensure that staff members are able to better communicate with their prospective clients.
  • Customize Lists: The denial criteria list has been expanded to now incorporate a new option titled "Currently Incarcerated", providing users with a more comprehensive range of criteria for denials in the system.
  • Customize Lists: The contact relationship list has been updated to now include a new option titled "Court Referral Officer", providing users with a more comprehensive range of options for classifying patient contacts.
  • Referral Source: The area for referral source notes has been modified to display records in descending order for increased efficiency.
  • Referral Source: The mobile version of referral source records has been enhanced to display the referral crosswalk, ensuring business development-oriented users can easily reference this key information as they foster their b2b relationships.
  • Tasks: The task comments feature has been updated to support edit and/or delete actions created by the user to ensure necessary changes can be made when applicable.
  • Form Queue Mapping: The form queue mapping functionality has been enhanced to accommodate spaces between enumerators, facilitating the accurate population of data to associated objects. This improvement extends to keys mapped to various objects, including Organization Type, Race, and Ethnicity, among others, ensuring smoother data integration processes.
